Gym & Tonic – Terms of Use and Agreement

1. Purpose and Acceptance of the Terms
By accepting these terms, a customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Member”) enters into an agreement to purchase and use a Gym & Tonic membership via the gymtonic.fi platform.

The Member accepts the terms by completing the online registration form and selecting “I have read and accept the terms and conditions.”

3. Service Description
Gym & Tonic is a recreational platform offering adult-oriented, low-threshold memberships to various sports clinics, leagues, and community-based physical activities.

By purchasing a membership, the Member gains access to the selected activities and services during the active membership period, according to the plan and package chosen.


4. Payment and Pricing
Memberships are purchased directly through the online store, with payment processed via Paytrail Oyj. All prices are displayed including VAT.

A valid membership is a prerequisite for participation. Memberships start from €20 and are available for various durations and activity types.


5. Confirmation and Access
Once payment is completed, the Member receives confirmation by email. The access details, including schedules, locations, and participation instructions, are sent to the email provided.

Memberships are personal and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.


6. Validity and Usage
The membership is valid for the period specified during purchase (e.g., 2 months, seasonally, or per program). Participation requires active status at the time of the event or session.

Any unused sessions during the validity period are not refundable or extendable unless otherwise agreed by Ukonharju Oy.


7. Cancellations and Refunds
According to Chapter 6, Section 14, Subsection 1 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (38/1978), the consumer has the right to withdraw from an off-premises or distance contract by informing the trader about this by means of submitting the withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement no later than 14 days from the conclusion of the service contract or the contract for the electronic supply of digital content, in the case of a sales contract from the receipt of the goods or the last instalment of goods or, in the case of the regular delivery of goods, from the receipt of the first instalment of goods.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@gymtonic.fi.


8. Service Disruptions and Force Majeure
Ukonharju Oy is not liable for delays, cancellations, or indirect damages resulting from force majeure events, such as pandemic restrictions, weather disruptions, or other unforeseeable incidents.


9. Liability and Conduct
The Member participates in all activities at their own risk and is responsible for acting respectfully and safely in all sessions. Ukonharju Oy reserves the right to cancel a membership without refund in the case of serious misconduct or violation of rules.

By registering, the Member agrees to the use of their personal information in accordance with Ukonharju Oy’s privacy policy:

11. Dispute Resolution
All disputes arising from this agreement, if not resolved between the parties, will primarily be settled under the mediation procedure of the Finnish Bar Association. If no agreement is reached through mediation, the dispute will be finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Rules for Expedited Arbitration of the Finland Chamber of Commerce. The place of arbitration is Joensuu, Finland.
